Finally, Iowa has joined the ranks. This day could not have come soon enough for me.

Valleyfair's unfair policy needs to be revisedĀ - again
Valleyfair recently changed its policy on special needs access to rides. Prior to the change, park patrons with special needs (i.e. physical disablilty and mental handicap) were allowed immediate access to rides without having to stand in line.

Pride. Something I am supposed to have, especially in June, it would seem. June is Gay Pride Month. Millions of people across the globe get together to celebrate their sexual orientations. This particular month was chosen because the famous riots at Stonewall Inn took place on June 29, 1969, after a police raid on the LGBT-frequented establishment.
